Margherita Morotti is an illustrator from Emilia. After classical studies she moved to Milan, where she still lives and works, to attend the course of Multimedia Illustration and Animation at the IED; afterwards she attended the courses of live portraiture at the Castello Sforzesco, and the semester of Editorial Illustration at Mimaster.
Her work has a strong analogical component, ranging between different techniques, with a constant search for shapes and colours and a particular attention to the gestures of bodies.
From 2010 to 2016 she was one of the editors of Lucha Libre, a palindromic magazine of illustration and critical fiction.
Among her clients are, Variety, Acqua Di Parma, Feltrinelli Comics, Martini, The Atlantic, The New Republic, Linus, Il Tascabile Treccani.
